He is a lifelong Lutheran and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Elders in his home congregation.

Tim only started writing books when he was in his seventies. His late brothers and some of his contemporaries commented that none had written down what they had experienced in life and they whish that they had. That inspired Tim to write his autobiography. After that he continued to write about other topics about which he had interest and experience. Tim doesn’t consider himself an author, but a storyteller with years of life experience to share with all who are interested.
